The Guinness World Records Afrobeats orchestra achievement has officially placed Nigeria in the global spotlight. Guinness World Records confirmed that Dapper Live & Artists assembled the largest orchestra ever to perform at an Afrobeats concert.
The record-setting performance took place at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos in December 2025. It featured 85 musicians performing together in a coordinated orchestral production.

Guinness World Records announced the achievement on its official X account. The organisation also shared a video from the record-breaking concert.
According to Guinness World Records, the event featured the largest orchestra assembled for an Afrobeats performance.
The organisation stated that the concert included 85 musicians performing under the direction of a conductor.
The performance also featured a lead vocalist, a choir and dancers. Together, they delivered an orchestral interpretation of an Afrobeats composition.
Guinness World Records noted that the production demonstrated how orchestral music and Afrobeats can blend seamlessly on one stage.
Dapper Live Hosted The Record-Breaking Concert
The historic event carried the title “Trench Symphony: The Dapper Live Experience.”
Organisers staged the concert on December 16, 2025, at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos.
Dapper Live & Artists organised the performance. The entertainment company is linked to music executive Damilola Akinwunmi, popularly known as Dapper.
The event attracted music lovers from across Nigeria. It also showcased the growing creative ambition within the country’s entertainment industry.
Fuji Legends And Afrobeats Stars Shared The Stage
The record-breaking concert featured an impressive lineup of performers.
Fuji icons King Saheed Osupa and KS1 Malaika headlined the event alongside several leading Afrobeats artists.
Other performers included T.I Blaze, Rybeena, Bhadboi OML, Kashcoming, TML Vibez, Lasmid, Heis Cazulee and Dwillsharmony.
Their performances helped create a unique musical experience that combined contemporary Afrobeats with a full live orchestra.
