A major corporate restructuring has taken place within the consumer goods manufacturing sector. Indeed, this follows a strategic executive decision by the multinational leadership. The news that Reckitt Nigeria unveils new non-executive board directors highlights a strong commitment to long-term governance and institutional growth. The prominent hygiene and health firm confirmed these massive inclusions through an official media release on Friday. Specifically, the brand selected two highly accomplished industry leaders to join its apex decision-making body in Lagos.

Undoubtedly, these new appointments follow the recent passing of the long-standing Board Chairman, the late Chief Michael Olumuyiwa Falomo. His visionary leadership heavily contributed to the extensive development and stabilization of the corporate establishment over several active decades. Consequently, the organization acknowledges his enduring legacy while onboarding fresh administrative talents to navigate future market realities. The managers selected Her Excellency, Mrs. Toyin Ojora Saraki, to handle a vital non-executive oversight function moving forward.

For instance, the incoming director brings over twenty years of global advocacy experience to the brand. She originally founded the highly successful Wellbeing Foundation Africa to pioneer healthcare development frameworks. Furthermore, her background includes serving as the Inaugural Global Health Ambassador for the WHO Foundation.

She also maintains strategic advisory roles within the World Economic Forum and the Bayer Sustainability Council. Therefore, her deep familiarity with public welfare systems will support the company’s core mission to protect and nurture local communities.

In addition, the administration welcomed Prince Abimbola Olashore to the executive team. The seasoned chartered accountant possesses over three decades of diverse financial advisory experience spanning major banking institutions. Currently, he operates as the Chief Executive Officer at Lead Capital Plc. His impressive career history also features an executive director role at the Ecobank Transnational Group. Moreover, he serves as the active President and Chairman of Council of the Nigerian British Chamber of Commerce.

Thus, his immense background in financial strategy and corporate risk management positions him perfectly to guide long-term asset expansion. The Managing Director of Reckitt West Africa, Akbar Ali-Shah, expressed great delight regarding the dual appointments. He noted that their unique perspectives will reinforce the existing internal governance frameworks during this transition. Progressively, the manufacturing brand intends to leverage these diverse corporate insights to drive product innovation. Ultimately, the move confirms that Reckitt Nigeria unveils new non-executive board directors to build a highly competitive regional ecosystem.
