He argued that his father left behind valuable assets for his children. He questioned why some family members now needed public assistance.

Son Accuses Widow of Selling Properties
Somtochukwu claimed that Stella Marris sold several properties belonging to the late actor.
“I decided to do this video today because this, her (Stella Marris Okafor’s) character, is becoming a slap to the rest of my dad’s family and children,” he said.
He alleged that she sold houses located in Lagos, Enugu and Asaba. He further claimed that she did not consult other family members before completing the transactions.
According to Somtochukwu, the Lagos property sold for ₦60 million. He alleged that the Enugu property fetched ₦17 million, while the Asaba property sold for ₦11 million.
He also accused her of exhausting funds donated by Nigerians during Mr Ibu’s illness.
“My father left many properties for all of us, yet she took control of everything. She even sold my father’s house in Lagos for ₦60 million without reaching out to any of his children,” he stated.
Somtochukwu added that he has not benefited from any of the assets left behind by his father.
School Fees and Asset Access Claims
The actor’s son also spoke about his personal struggles.
He claimed that outstanding school fees prevented him from collecting his WAEC certificate.
According to him, Stella Marris denied him access to family assets after his father’s death.
